Job Description: Role Summary Technical position owning platform administration across Snowflake, AWS, and enterprise data tools (Tableau, Alation). Focus: designing and automating RBAC/access provisioning, building governance infrastructure, implementing compliance controls, and managing cost optimization. Reports to Manager of Data Platform Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enforce Snowflake security frameworks (RBAC, network policies, dynamic data masking, authentication)
• Architect cost optimization strategies (warehouse sizing, resource monitors, query tagging, reserved capacity)
• Own data masking, compliance controls, row-level access policies, and audit trail management
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for governance controls across environments
• Design automated access request/approval/certification workflows via CI/CD pipelines
• Develop governance monitoring pipelines for access anomalies and policy violations
• Manage AWS account structure, IAM roles, and cross-account access
• Administer Tableau and Alation (permissions, access, metadata governance)
