Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex enterprise applications or platforms.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting SharePoint Online or SharePoint-based enterprise solutions.
• Strong hands-on development skills in C, .NET / .NET Core, REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Function Apps and cloud services such as App Services, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection, sensitivity labels, encryption, content classification, and protected-document workflows.
• Experience supporting enterprise Sensitive Information Protection, data loss prevention, records management, information governance, or compliance solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript or JavaScript, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Strong SQL skills, including relational data modeling, query development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools for source control, work management, build and release pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of application security, identity and access management, certificate or secret-based authentication, API permissions, and least-privilege design.
• Proven ability to diagnose production issues, communicate technical risks and impacts, and drive issues through resolution.
• Strong collaboration, written communication, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and guide other engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing applications or services with the Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) SDK.
• Experience supporting enterprise Sensitive Information Protection, data loss prevention, records management, information governance, or compliance solutions.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Microsoft Copilot, or Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization solutions.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, or Power Platform technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, automated testing, observability, vulnerability remediation, and software composition analysis practices.
• Experience with SonarQube, Black Duck, or comparable code quality and open-source security tools.
