Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
• Build and support data integration pipelines for cloud and on-premises applications.
• Develop mappings, workflows, sessions, taskflows, and reusable transformations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from multiple data sources.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and data quality checks.
• Support migration of PowerCenter jobs to IICS where applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow development best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Strong knowledge of ETL development and data integration concepts.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Facts & Dimensions).

• Parameter Files
• Error Handling & Recovery
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and flat files (CSV, XML, JSON).
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI), CDI, or Mass Ingestion.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for ETL deployments.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality tools.
• Agile/Scrum development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Informatica Certification (PowerCenter/IICS) is preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience in Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, or Manufacturing domains.
• Exposure to data migration and cloud modernization projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
