Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in cloud infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, and large-scale migration programs across enterprise and telecom environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in assessing application and infrastructure readiness, planning migration strategies, and executing workload migrations from virtualized platforms to Kubernetes/OpenShift environments running on bare metal and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Perform infrastructure readiness assessments and dependency analysis.
• Execute migrations from VMware/OpenStack to Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, including validation, operations, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Administer OpenStack environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash and Python scripting.
• Manage storage validation and persistent storage, including Ceph environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and GitOps practices.
• Monitor infrastructure health using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch, and Datadog.
• Troubleshoot cloud-native infrastructure, networking, storage, and container platforms.
• Collaborate with networking, storage, platform, and application teams during migration projects.
• Prepare migration runbooks, rollback plans, validation procedures, and cutover strategies.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across global teams.
