Overview

We are hiring an AppOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience for a Hybrid opportunity based in Pune (Kalyani Nagar). The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Azure (mandatory) along with a good understanding of AWS. A cloud certification is mandatory (AZ-104 or AWS Solutions Architect), and certification details must be shared along with the profile. Male candidates only are preferred as the role involves rotational shifts, and candidates must be flexible to work in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure 24x7 application availability and operational excellence.
• Manage end-to-end application deployments and environment health.
• Collaborate with Engineering, CloudOps, and Security teams.
• Own operational KPIs such as uptime, MTTR, change success rate, and SLA/SLO adherence.
• Lead incident response and escalations.
• Coordinate releases.
• Participate in change management and risk assessments.
• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
• Drive continuous process improvements.
• Support audit, compliance, and security requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of application operations in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Hands-on experience in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and operational troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts, release management, automation and scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, AWS CloudFormation).
• Application deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Rolling, Canary).
• Infrastructure components (load balancers, storage, networking, DNS, certificates).
• Security best practices.
• Ability to analyze logs, metrics, traces, and performance data.
• Managing application lifecycles across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

Qualifications

6+ Years of experience in relevant field.
