Overview

Liberty Blume is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and lead the delivery of enterprise-scale digital solutions across cloud, data, AI, and modern application platforms. The successful candidate will drive architecture strategy and technology transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. The role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, software engineering, integration, DevOps, and emerging technologies, including AI and GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end architecture for digital platforms, applications, integrations, and cloud services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Produce architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and technical standards.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate technology options and provide architectural recommendations.

Cloud & Platform Architecture

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS (GCP).
• Architect highly available, resilient, and secure distributed systems.
• Define microservices, API-first, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
• Lead containerization initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support platform engineering and cloud modernization programmes.

Software Engineering Leadership

• Provide technical leadership across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Guide engineering teams on architecture patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Support development using modern technologies including:
• Python
• .NET
• Java
• Node.js
• React
• Angular

Integration & Data Architecture

• Define enterprise integration strategies using APIs and middleware platforms.
• Design real-time and event-driven integrations.
• Work with data teams to support analytics, AI, and reporting capabilities.
• Establish data governance and architecture standards.

DevOps & Automation

• Drive adoption of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Design and govern CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:
• Terraform
• Bicep
• ARM Templates
• CloudFormation

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Evaluate and implement AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and automation solutions.
• Support AI architecture design using cloud-native services and Python frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance

• Embed Security-by-Design and Privacy-by-Design principles.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and remediation planning.
