Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) Architect with 8+ years of ServiceNow experience and strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in software license compliance, normalization, reconciliation, publisher packs, integrations, and SAM governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement end-to-end ServiceNow SAM Pro solutions.
• Lead Software Asset Management implementation and enhancement projects.
• Configure and customize SAM Pro modules, content libraries, normalization, and reconciliation processes.
• Design software license compliance strategies for major publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware, etc.
• Implement and manage Software Discovery Models, Entitlements, Contracts, and License Metrics.
• Integrate SAM Pro with Discovery, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Flexera, Snow, Tanium, and other asset discovery tools.
• Configure Content Service, Publisher Packs, Software Models, and Software Installations.
• Build custom workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Develop REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems.
• Perform data analysis, license optimization, and compliance reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex SAM-related issues and provide architectural guidance.
• Collaborate with ITAM, ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development/architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow SAM Professional (SAM Pro).

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Flexera, Tanium, Snow, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (User, Device, Core, Processor, Subscription, SaaS, Named User, Concurrent User, etc.).
• Experience in software optimization and audit readiness.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HAM Pro (Hardware Asset Management).
• Experience with ITSM and Discovery.
• ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
• ServiceNow Upgrade and Release Management.
• ITIL knowledge/certification.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Certifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
• Additional ServiceNow certifications are an advantage.

Other Details

• Strong hands-on SAM Pro Architecture experience is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
